Craig won't give the reasons behind Sonic R being bad after Sonic '06. At the end of the game, the characters reverse time so none of this even happened.ģ. There are long loading screens waiting for one character to say one line, just to get to another loading screen! Even if Sonic Team made the game they wanted, the story would still have been weird.
Entire sections of the games are clearly missing.
The confusing level design, atrocious voice acting, and terrible story line are obvious. As usual, the game was rushed close to launch. It was a larger production then Sonic Team predicted, and development fell way behind.

This was supposed to be a reboot, meant to take the series in a new direction. This is the worst main series Sonic game no question. We could say this game was a joke and move on, but the backstory is interesting. If the next game was good, we could have forgotten about Shadow the Hedgehog. This game allowed Sonic to go into a hole it could never get out of. In a few years, Shadow would get his own game - where he has guns! When we saw the tribal tattoo next to his name, and the machine gun in his hand, we turned around and walked off. It is no fun to play, and is a colossal failure. Solving questions is rewarded by skipping more questions. Sonic's Schoolhouse is a creepy edutainment game by solving questions. There is no goal like getting a star, but a fight with a battle system based on chance! Putting this game in front of your friends is like torturing them for an hour, and making them into your worst enemy.Ħ. Mini games only happen when you land on certain spaces. Do you like Mario Party? Then you will hate Sonic Shuffle. Take that and put it onto the inferior Game Gear. The overhead 3D view that isn't quite 3D. Everything else was a steep fall into a bottomless pit.Ĩ. Sonic is dressed as a knight! The only good thing is the opening cutscene. The fantasy world is not as clever as Secret Rings, and everything seems forced. The game consists of mostly waggling the Wiimote with no challenge whatsoever. Remember when Nintendo said there would be three Sonic games on the Wii, and only two came out? They were pretty shit.
Craig says it might by fun once or twice, but then corrects himself. The game is ugly, and Craig questions who Bean and Bark are. Then after playing it, the player would realize that whoever made this had never played a fighting game in their life. Sonic the Fighters looked cool the first time around.
